Recently DeepCo has been investigating on security and scaleability concerns. Today we had a breakthrough on some of these things and did a pure backend optimisation on the system.

The system should be much more reliable now. We implemented more thorough backup plans and strengthen the system security overall.

Shadow Department Infrastructure: DeepCo™ has successfully deployed parallel department technology to optimize operator distribution and maximize throughput efficiency. The new Shadow Department Protocol introduces:

• Temporary Parallel Departments: Operators can now access shadow variants of their assigned departments, creating additional workspace capacity without compromising main department integrity

• Visual Department Indicator: The @ roster symbol now displays in green when shadow departments are available, providing immediate visual confirmation of expansion opportunities

• Flexible Operator Movement: All operators have unrestricted access to switch between main and shadow departments based on operational preferences and workload requirements

• Bonus Inheritance Protocol: All departmental bonuses automatically transfer to associated shadow departments, maintaining operational consistency and reward structures, this also means bonus only spawns in the main department, but caries out to all shadow

• Eternal Main Department Priority: While shadow departments provide temporary expansion capacity, only main departments persist through system cycles, ensuring operational continuity

Shadow departments appear and disappear based on operational demand, providing dynamic scaling for peak productivity periods. Operators maintain full autonomy over their workspace selection while benefiting from expanded mining territories.

DeepCo™ has deployed a messaging system to ensure optimal information flow. The new infrastructure supports:
- Banner Notifications: Critical system-wide announcements
- Modal Messages: Targeted individual communications requiring explicit acknowledgment to maintain operator awareness compliance
- Real-time Broadcasting: Instantaneous message delivery via Turbo Stream protocols

The Corporation is pleased to announce a significant advancement in operational efficiency. Our engineers have implemented Drag-to-Queue Technology, allowing operators to select multiple processing targets through a simple dragging motion across the grid interface.

This enhancement represents a 73% reduction in repetitive clicking motions, directly addressing productivity bottlenecks identified in our continuous surveillance monitoring systems. Key improvements include:

• Multi-tile Selection: Drag across any number of targets to queue them simultaneously
• Smart Filtering: The system automatically excludes compromised or already-processed sectors
• Mobile Compatibility: Full touch support for field operators using portable devices
• Batch Processing: Optimized server communications reduce network overhead by up to 85%

The drag selection interface provides real-time visual feedback, ensuring operators maintain situational awareness while maximizing throughput. Queue capacity limits are intelligently enforced to prevent resource allocation errors.
