The way DeepCo™ tracks who's online has been upgraded for speed and stability.

Online presence is now handled by a high-performance Redis system instead of the old database method. This means:

  • Faster and more reliable status updates
  • No more weird delays or "ghost online" bugs
  • Improved multiplayer performance, especially during busy times

Everything still works the same — it's just smoother, faster, and more stable under the hood.

Recursion-Gated Specializations + Bulk Upgrades

Two operator improvements now active across the grid:

Specialization Recursion Gate

Specializations now unlock after completing 5 recursions — replacing the old 450 tile defeat condition.

- Unlocks remain flexible: once you've recursed 5 times, you can specialize whenever you choose.

- If already specialized at less than 5 recursions, you will be locked out on next recursion, until 5
- The UI now clearly indicates your progress (e.g., “2 / 5”) with greyed-out cards and a striped overlay.

- Clear messaging helps new operators understand the requirement without guesswork.

A small but thoughtful adjustment to discourage premature identity formation.

Bulk Upgrade System

Operators can now purchase upgrades in bulk — 1, 5, or 10 at a time.

- Smart limits prevent invalid purchases (e.g., trying to buy more than available).

- Buttons disable automatically when upgrades are unavailable or funds are low.

Real-Time Damage Stats Displayed

Operators can now monitor their true processing strength with precision.

A new stats panel beneath the grid reveals your actual damage output, including:

  • Overclock (crit) chance
  • Fork (multihit) chance
  • Min/Max damage with all bonuses applied
  • Current clockspeed

These numbers are now derived from the exact same calculations used during actual processing, ensuring what you see is what you strike with.

The upgrade screen has also been enhanced to show your effective damage, replacing outdated base values.

Recursion Clarity & Tier Display Fix

Applied

Operators can now view live recursion gains directly in the interface. A dynamic number has been added next to the recursion button, showing exactly how many recursive credits will be earned upon reset. The value updates in real time as blocks are processed — no need to guess your payout again.

In addition, a visual bug affecting tier unlock requirements on small devices has been resolved. Text will now remain orderly, even in compact viewports.
